Ferguson criticism Referee

Manchester United manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, judging referee Michael Jones did not work very well when he led his team the match against Newcastle United's interminable 1-1, Saturday (11/26/2011).

One of Ferguson's decision is a decision criticized by Jones to give a penalty for Newcastle defender Rio Ferdinand after the judge violated Hatem Ben Arfa. According to Ferguson, who carried Ferdinand Dachshund Ben Arfa on the net.

Ferguson also deplores that Jones changed after discussion with his assistant while trying to determine whether it is a violation or not. In fact, before Jones assess the Dachshund was clean and only gave a corner for Newcastle.

"I think that everyone agrees (the tackle was clean), including the referee, because he thinks Rio won the ball and he only gave a corner. He (the referee) let the assistant referee to set it," said Ferguson.

"We faced this situation a few weeks ago when the linesman gave a penalty against Sunderland when it was clear the opponent's hand. Referee (then) was placed in a difficult situation at that time because they have to decide what he should do. He knew it was pure handball and set linesman. that's what the referee should do today, "he continued.
